The Movie:

"Orgy" is an early 1980s pre-condom fuck fest. There are no specifically separate scenes as they all inter-cut and switch back and forth.

The set-up is basic: Scorpio (who looks like Al Pacino in "Cruising") has invited a number of dudes to his television/photography studio for an orgy. The inter-cut scenes show a variety of men in solo, two and three-ways that eventually leads to one big group free-for-all.

The sex is plentiful and features kissing/make-out, nipple play, sucking, just a little bit of rimming, and plenty of frenzied fucking.

Most of the models have moustaches that were very popular for the time period. Some are dressed like Rob Halford of Judas Priest in leather pants, jackets, sunglasses, and caps.

All but one model has dark hair, all cocks are cut, and all the guys have nice full pubes and hairy holes. Two of the guys are preppy with early 1980s blow-dry haircuts. Finally, one dude looks like the "Geek" from "Pulp Fiction" in his leather face mask.

Since this is pre-condom, the fucking is strictly bareback and there is plenty of cum eating. Surprisingly, there is little to no rimming.

"Orgy" has an early 1980s NYC gritty look/feel to it: there are loads of dissolves, wipes, and blue-screen effects that keep the action going at a good pace and brought back memories of the halcyon days of early 1980s XXX videos.

The videography keeps the viewer right in on all the sex with a cornucopia of closeups.

The picture quality is grainy for the first fifteen minutes or so. After that, the picture clears up but is never completely sharp.

Sound:

A very spare early 1980s synth soundtrack with spoken word accompanies the natural sex noises. The soundtrack adds an "artsy" feel to the movie.

Extras:

The extras include scene selections/chapter stops, a stills gallery, and trailers for three vintage all-male classics: ""Kansas City Trucking Company", "El Paso Wrecking Corp.", and "L.A. Tool & Die".

Final Thoughts:

I got a kick out of "Orgy" as it is an entertaining time capsule from the early 1980s. Although bondage gear is not my deal (except for combat boots!), Scorpio is very handsome with his Italian good looks. The other models are all nice looking without being pretty boys.

I give director Christopher Rage props for experimenting with all the current (at the time) video effects and creating a movie that is gritty and experimental.

I recommend the movie for lovers of vintage porn, group sex, and light bondage.
