It's Christmas morning for Millennial gays! After years of anticipation, an entire conservatorship, and some juicy leaks, Britney Spears' new memoir The Woman In Me is officially out and everyone is gagging over all the behind-the-scenes tea and gossip from one of the world's most famous singers. Here are 3 of the most shocking revelations from the blockbuster 275-page celebrity memoir.

1. Britney Had an Abortion at Age 19

At age 19, Britney was one half of the biggest celebrity couple in the world. She was young, famous, and in love, so when she became pregnant, she was super excited for this new chapter. However her singer boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, pressured Britney to have an at-home abortion, one she says she might not have had if Justin wasn't so insistent.

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

She took pills at home to end the pregnancy and cried on the bathroom floor from the trauma while Justin played guitar to sooth her. He later cheated on her twice and broke up with her over text while she was filming a music video.

2. Britney was Addicted

Britney candidly and bravely opened up about her pill addictions through the years. Britney was on Vicodin for a knee injury and Prozac for mental health purposes, but Britney says her “drug of choice” was Adderall. While many use the pill for ADHD medication, Britney was using it like an antidepressant.

“What I found far more appealing was that it gave me a few hours of feeling less depressed. It was the only thing that worked for me as an antidepressant, and I really felt like I needed one of those.”

3. An Almost Hollywood Star

While everyone knows Britney made her acting debut in the Shonda Rhimes film Crossroads, Britney was so close to becoming a true Hollywood star, making the leap to the screen like Cher, Bette, Madonna, Diana, and Barbra had before her. Because method-acting took its toll on young Britney, she decided perhaps film roles weren't really the best road for her, so she turned down The Notebook and the Oscar-winning Chicago.

“The Notebook casting came down to me and Rachel McAdams, and even though it would have been fun to reconnect with Ryan Gosling after our time on the Mickey Mouse Club, I’m glad I didn’t do it,” she said. “If I had, instead of working on my album In the Zone, I’d have been acting like a 1940s heiress day and night.”

“When it came to Chicago, I should’ve done it,” she said. “Chicago would have been fun. I wish I’d taken that offer. I would have gotten to play a villain who kills a man, and sings and dances while doing it, too.”
