Did David Archuleta Come Out As A Non-Bottom? Hot on TikTok!

American Idol cutie David Archuleta just made the most innocent mistake on TikTok and we are living for it. The result of the misunderstanding inspired him to come out as not a total bottom...kind of. We will explain.

Starting off on Star Search, Archuleta would become a sensation by placing 2nd in the 7th season of American Idol. His boyish looks, his innocent sensibility, and amazing voice quickly made him a fan favorite. The gays also started having their twink fantasies and asked, "Is he or isn't he?" After his successful run on the reality show, he established an extremely strong career that continues to this day with millions of albums sold, a very popular social media following, and sold-out shows around the nation. During his career rise, he left the music industry for two years to complete his missionary work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile. He started to come to terms with blossoming sexuality and his struggle between religion and being true to himself started to become too much. He finally came out in 2021 and has shared his coming out in a very public way. For the most part, fans have welcomed him with open arms and have supported his decision to leave the Church and live his true life. He has also been very open about his lack of knowledge of the gay community's ways, slang, sex, and even Drag Race. Little by little, he has come to explore and appreciate the sex part of being gay. He still has much to learn from gay pop culture.

Innocently, (or was it?) he stitched in a video from a popular TikToker who was using a tape measure to measure to 3 1/2 inches, telling men that if that's all they measured to, they need to watch themselves. Archuleta sampled in the video with his 2008 hit "Crush" thinking she was referring to being short, he's 5’5″. A slew of comments on his TikTok made him realize what body part she was referring to. Enjoying his flirty stage with his fans, he has been making some statements that kind of make us want more sexy talk.

In one particular TikTok video, a user commented that being a full-time bottom isn't so bad. David responded that was probably true but that he couldn't relate. Wink, wink! He's not a full-time bottom! We'd like to test out the theory for ourselves. But we love that he's embracing his flirty side and that he's starting to learn the lingo.
