NSFEyeballs: College Guy Gets Ball Sac Ripped Open While Pole Vaulting

Hiya how's everyone's afternoon going? Everyone having a... ball? Okay let's get into this. A twenty-one-year-old Brigham Young University student named Zach McWhorter got his pole vault caught on his junk mid-air. The accident ripped open his sac and he needed to get 18 freaking stitched to repair the damage. Lolz?

Zach found viral fame after uploading a video of the accident to TikTok, and says that his dad/coach (who luckily also happens to be a urologist) was able to repair his testicles so that the only known lasting damage is a scar. So, all's well that end's well? He said of the future functionality of his balls:

Fortunately, as far as I know, there is nothing wrong with my testicles — just a scar. One day, we'll find out if they function or not...

We wouldn't want this BYU graduate disappointing his future wives. Hello. Impalement seems built into the sport of pole vaulting, and a ton of compilation videos exist on YouTube spelling out the horrors of what this sport can entail. Here's a near miss that gives us an idea of the sheer impact Zach's poor sac was up against.
