“The Grabbys” Are Being Held This Weekend In Chicago; Who Will Win?

If you're in or near Chicago this coming Memorial Day weekend, there are still tickets available for the annual Grabby Awards.

With 28 categories, The Grabbys are organized by Grab Magazine to celebrate excellence in gay porn. The field this year is one of the strongest we've ever seen, and it should be a fight to the finish in a lot of these categories. And there is not a single nominee that would be unworthy of an award. Let's take a look at some of the toughest categories at this year's show.

Performer of the Year

Jessy Ares, Boomer Banks, J.R. Bronson, Jesse Colter, Dale Cooper, Christopher Daniels, Tommy Defendi, Trenton Ducati, Jimmy Durano, Jimmy Fanz, Brandon Jones, Levi Karter, Colby Keller, Conner Maguire, Johnny Rapid, Angel Rock, Ricky Roman, Ryan Rose, Kevin Warhol, Shawn Wolfe, Christian Wilde

Trenton Ducati & Jimmy Durano shared this award last year, so you can more or less rule them out. Christian Wilde feels like the dark horse here, so I'm going to put my money on Dale Cooper & Ryan Rose. This could be a banner year for Dale, as I also think he'll take the Best Actor award.

Best Newcomer

Boomer Banks, Blue Bailey, Johnny Blum, Joey Cooper, Donnie Dean, Mike DiMarco, Colton Grey, Levi Karter, Connor Kline, Kevin Lee, Jessie Montgomery, Hunter Page, Nick Prescott, Adam Ramzi, Armond Rizzo, Billy Santoro, Damien Taylor, Tyson Tyler, Austin Wolfe, Shawn Wolfe

Last year they gave this to two performers, Max Ryder & Tate Ryder. It's tough to go with anyone outside of Boomer Banks in this category, so he seems like a lock. I'd have to go with Shawn Wolfe to share the award with Boomer, though Levi Karter could come on strong here, though I'd expect him to take another award I'll get to in a moment.

This one seems like a no-brainer. Angel Rock is an insanely hot Cuban pornstar with a giant dick that never bottoms. And Jimmy Durano just won this last year. I'd love to see Topher DiMaggio take it, but he seems like a long shot.
