Just Because Straight Guys Watch Gay Porn Doesn’t Make Them Gay…

There are many, many arguments had about whether or not a straight guy can still consider himself straight once he does gay porn—but there's a new argument raging about whether or not watching, and enjoying, gay porn makes a straight guy gay, or at the very least, questioning.

A question was recently posed to 160,000 straight men on the Reddit "Ask Men" by user father_figa, “Do any straight guys watch gay porn as a fetish rather than an aspect of your sexual orientation.” The Gaily Grind (link below) gathered some of the best answers to the question in an attempt to get us to argue about this new topic. Fuck it, I’ll be the one dude to be honest, yeah I watch some gay porn. I find they are less fake about it most times, a lot less fake moaning and such.

I just tend to find a lot of gay porn is relevant to my interests in a way that some straight porn isn’t. I don’t like watching sloppy, gaggy blow jobs and on the whole gay porn has much cleaner bjs at least from what I’ve seen. It’s about 70/30 straight to gay watching. Let me start by saying I enjoy having sex with women, a lot. I’ve never had sex with a guy, but would be open to the idea. I’ve used toys before too and know that it feels good.

Beyond curiosity and that it is arousing, I don’t know of any other reason to watch gay porn.

That being said, I do not want to date a guy or kiss guys (not appealing in any way).

You can’t help what turns you on sexually, so you might as well except it and explore yourself.

Here's the way I see it, and many of you can and, I'm sure, will argue with me about it. I don't think you can be aroused by something "gay" and still consider yourself 100% heterosexual. I'm not in any way, shape, or form being judgmental about bisexuals. As a matter of fact, I think the world would be a much better place if more of us admitted to our bisexuality. I'm simply saying that caveats like "I'm not gay" and "Maybe bi" only further keep the lines between us more distinct. Guys, if you watch gay porn but only have sex with women in real life, you're in denial of some tendencies, and I'm not saying that guys who do this are all latent homosexuals, but they're definitely bisexual and should just own it.
