Our Beloved “Spartacus” Goes To The Bath House

Our straight friends at Fleshbot may be as obsessed with “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” as we are, but they don’t fully appreciate the joys of the bath house, where boys will be boys and men will be naked. Cocks galore!

The second episode of our favorite graphic gladiator extravaganza was even hotter than the first. Our beloved Spartacus got a haircut and was introduced to life in the ludus, which is a gladiator training camp (which we want to call a lewd-us, but that’s just us). There are many rules of the ludus and one is that no male will every wear a shirt at any time. That’s right, it was all sweaty pecs and abs for an entire hour.

Upon arrival, Spartacus is sent to the bath house to clean up—but it looks more like the dirtiest steam room of the gayest gym in all the land. The guys are just sitting around, many of them naked and staring at each other. Sparatcus gets into a fight with gay gladiator Barca, but he’s really getting into it with gorgeous Gaul, Crixus, who is like the love child of Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme, if they could, you know, have a baby. Will these two just fuck and get it over with? Until then, we’ll be more than happy with this weekly hour of manflesh, blood, and testosterone.

I haven’t seen Spartacus yet, but I recall when Rome was broadcast, I was ogling all the cock on screen and amazed they blatantly displayed nearly all circumcised cock…which would have been a rarity in ancient Rome especially in the ruling class. From this clip its hard to tell if they are sporting clipped cock or not.

Maybe it was just the video clip, but it seemed like the dialogue and the scene weren’t in synch. I thought for a moment that someone had recorded an alternate (read: comedy) track for the show. Glad it wasn’t.

@celticbuddha: Can you imagine the call going out to these actors’ agents? “Is your client uncut? Is he buff? Hung? Is he fine with doing full-frontal nudity? Well, do we have a show for him….” ;)

Did they really say “shit” in the days of antiquity?
