Packaged together in separate DVD cases, America XXX and Porno Vision come from Hustler Video which means you're getting some fairly high-end product here. If you've ever seen the magazine, you know Hustler gets really hardcore, but they also try to get some truly hot woman for their spreads. This approach carries over into both of these DVDs, plus they're very well directed and full of creative ideas. Certainly not your typical style of porn, and that's a pretty good thing!

America XXX bears the subtitle "A Tribute to Sex and Rock & Roll," which means that all seven chapters set the sex to some sort of rock theme. (It's interesting to note that a porno flick about porn and America was filmed in Budapest with nothing but Hungarian women, but they sure seem to grow 'em tall and busty out there in Budapest.) Between the rock-video-type scenes of frenzied sexual activity are interview segments with rockers Stargunn, Bomber, Shoelessjoe, Supercocks, Post Stardom Depression, Fireball Ministry, and Johnny Toxic - but you'll most likely be FFing through this stuff to get to the real meat of the video.

The Factory Slammer features a rather "open" blonde (Christal) who takes on three guys in just about every way imaginable. No too many moans and groans here. The rock tunes play over the soundtrack and the material is edited in a quick-cut variety, so your eyes won't have much time to linger on the goods.

Extermination of a Nazi is a blonde (Claudia), a brunette (Sheila Scott), and some lucky guy in a Nazi uniform. The brunette kicks a swastika to the ground before both babes give the SS trooper a night he won't soon forget.

The Boiler Room showcases two painfully hot mamas in red and blue wigs (Monica Moore & Oana) who pleasure one another in a steam-filled boiler room. And hey, here comes a guy dressed up like George Washington, which brings the America, rock & porn theme home in a rather silly way. Still, these girls are too good to pass up!

My Addiction is more blondes (Sophie & Zsophia), only this pair has no need for a man. The sexy yellow-hairs almost look like sisters, but that doesn't stop them from getting all sorts of lesbianism cooking in a big abandoned warehouse.

The Bunker & the Bums features a busty and butt-naked blonde (Erika) who hangs out with a bunch of old homeless folks. She's pretty happy pleasuring herself as they sit by eating cans of beans, but one of the hornier homeless guys gets out his gear and goes to town. The rest of the bean-eaters just keep on watching.

The Sword is a solo gig that features an amazingly sexy (and tall!) brunette (Gili Sky). The gal delivers a sexy striptease, rubs a sharp-looking sword all over her body, and breaks out a big black dildo for the finale! Meanwhile two mean-looking Dobermans watch from the background.

After the War is a foursome: 2 blondes (Erika & Sophie), 2 muscled hunks and another grimy warehouse filled with sex. The setting might be dingy, but these women sure aren't.

While the models are hot and the production value is surprisingly strong, America XXX suffers from an over-reliance on subpar rock tunes and an over-edited style. The best segments (The Boiler Room and The Sword) are worth the price of admission, but overall this collection rates a C+.

The transfer is a pretty impressive Widescreen treatment, while sound is offered in both Dobly Digital 2.0 and 5.1. The main feature runs 73 minutes, interviews and credits included, but the best videos are pretty darn solid, plus there's a solid amount of special features. Casting Files - Girls is a look at several photos of girls who made the cut, and many who didn't. Location Files is a bunch of warehouse & boiler room snapshots, which makes it only slightly more intertesting than the Casting Files - Guys featurette. You'll also find a photo album of the flick's best sex scenes, several extra interviews, some Hustler trailers, and a bonus music video by rock band Bomber. Director Kris Kranski provides audio commentary on the casting files and the location files, as well as the full-length feature.

Let's move on to the second DVD, which is a whole lot better for a variety of reasons. (No rock band interviews!) The back of the Pornovision DVD case calls the movie a "collision of smut and art," which is actually not that bad a description. It's a little bit weird, pretty darn colorful, and full of smokin' hot sex.

Golden Bed features a glitter-covered blonde bombshell who services two well-endowed fellows who wear pantyhose on their head. And it's all shot in an ultra-golden hue, as if we're watching guy-girl-guy sex taking place on the sun.

Look At Me Now delivers a short Asian babe and a tall American bra-buster who come onto a stage all punked out. They give each other a shave, both on the head and down below, before getting down and dirty with some hellaciously hot lesbian love. Pretty kinky, and shot in B/W, which actually does make it a bit more "artsier" and sexier.

My Body looks like an early-80's rock video mixed with a sincerely sexy girl/guy/girl sex-fest. The blonde with the big boobs is painted head-to-toe with a vibrant yellow paint, while her girlfriend is coated entirely in blue (including the wig). These technicolor hotties give some great service to their guy (who's also the color of a Smurg), and make a little time for each other too. Sure, it's a little bit bizarre, which is what makes it that much sexier!

Embrace Me offers not much more than a girl, a few sex toys, an inflatable chair, and a whole lot of body oil...but what a girl! The stunningly hot xxx does a greasy-girl dance before breaking out the fingers, the dildos and the beads. Single-gal action doesn't get much better than this, fellas.

Kiss Me is a good old-fashioned one-guy, one-girl affair, and it's a pretty damn good one, too! The subchapters on this section are labeled Foreplay, Blow Job, Oral, Sex, and Cum. Which tells you all you really need to know! Well, that and the fact that the blue-eyed brunette is something pretty damn sexy...

It's Only Sex is for girls only. A well-endowed redhead and an equally top-heavy brunette discover the joys of tongues, fingers, and strap-ons. Those who dig the high-end girl-girl material might make this final chapter a frequent stop.

With a playfully strange take on traditional porno conventions, Pornovision is a pretty unique and exciting affair. Just about every gal involved is a bona-fide crotch-sweller, and the colorful presentation is just the icing on the cake.

(I'd be happy to name all of the female models in Pornovision, because pretty much every one is a mega-hot sexpot, but none of them get a mention anywhere in the film. Not even the end credits.)

All six segments are presented in a pretty impressive Widescreen format, and sound is Dolby Digital 2.0 Extra features include a slide show presentation and a bunch of Hustler previews.

The Bottom Line - If you have to pick through a lot of porn titles to find some bona-fide mega-watt hotties, Hustler seems to be a name you can trust. Both features run just over 70 minutes and offer a small dose of extra features. But focusing just on the video quality and the caliber of cuties involved, you can consider this collection a must-own. Or at least a must-rent. Well, the Pornovision one, anyway.
