There is no official history on Locktober, but the first reference was on a blog post in 2015 on the now-defunct site OrgasmDenial.com. Over the last few years, it has gained momentum and really it is make courtesy of Tumblr (when they used to have porn) around 2019. For 31 days, the subs have to remain in a chastity cage around their dicks, seeing if they can last the whole month.
