Queer Pro Wrestlers Heating Up the Scene
Pro Wrestling Illustrated released its ranking of the top 500 pro wrestlers worldwide and there are plenty of queer men who made the list! We wanted to take this moment to applaud these athletes for leading the way in gay representation in the sports field.
Alex Kane
Alex is the second out LGBTQ male world champion in pro wrestling history and the first out LGBTQ wrestler to hold two world championships simultaneously after his win for the ACTION Wrestling World. His wrestling moniker is The Suplex Assassin. This is his second year being listed in the PWI 500.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey
Speedball made it to the top 100 in the PWI 500. He is the first out LGBTQ singles champion in TNA Wrestling history and is a two-time winner for the TNA X-Division championship. He is married to out non-binary pro wrestler and broadcaster Veda Scott.

“Mad Dog” Connelly
Pro wrestler Mad Dog came out as pansexual in 2021. He has talked openly about his struggle with mental health and going through COVID, he came to terms with his true identity.

Billy Dixon
Billy is an independent pro wrestler. He had never been in the closet and fought bullying and violence due to his sexuality growing up. He's always been a fighter. He left college to go to wrestling school and hasn't looked back since.

Logan Knight
Logan Knight has big hair and a big personality. He's been in the ring since 2019 and goes by the nicknames "The Motor City Muscle" and "The Spotlight."
