Daddy Lobo: Advocating For Sexual Health

Just as the adult industry is an international business so is the social cause of sexual health. A hot fresh face (and body) who is doing a great job at both is sexy newcomer Daddy Lobo. When he is not creating tons of hot new content across Europe, Daddy is a nurse and advocate for sexual health in his native Sweden. He is also an experienced singer and stage performer. This super stud has barely started in the industry and is already taking his audiences by storm. He joined us for his very first interview to share why he came to the industry and why he is undoubtedly the makings of a real star.

Let's start with a few basics: Age? Hometown? Occupation?

I’m 40 years old. Stockholm is my hometown and I’m a registered nurse and midwife working at a sexual health clinic. Caring for and strengthening the sexual health in the LGBTQI community is a passion of mine.

How did you create your stage name?

Creating my stage name was easy since I’m obviously a Daddy. At least my trashy tattoo says so, along with all the twinks on Grindr lol. I’m hairy af like a lobo/wolf, and I would also say I’m playful and caring like a wolf ;) but might have to change it to bear at some point? Maybe I should do an online poll haha.

Could you share with us some of your background? Where are you from? Where and how did you grow up? How did it bring you to where you are today?

I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, and ethnically I’m a mess lol. My parents are from Argentina with native South American, Spanish, German, and Moroccan heritage. A lot of people think I’m Middle Eastern. Culturally I would say I’m super Swedish with a touch of Latino ;)

Growing up I always dreamt of being on stage as a singer/performer. I went to music school and studied performing arts and began freelancing as a singer when I was a teenager. I did a lot of studio jobs as well as backing vocals, and a bit of musical theater, was part of a couple of pop groups, and performed in the Swedish entry of Eurovision.

After some 10 years in the music industry in Sweden, I wanted to study something else and nursing school was a bit of a gambling. Turned out I loved it since studying medicine and nursing really spoke to my interest in the human body as well as interpersonal connections. I quickly realized I wanted to work with sexual health since sexuality, sex, and gender have always interested me.

I would say it comes naturally to be into porn when you are interested in sex and bodies haha. During my day job, I talk about sex and during my “gigs” nowadays I perform sex. Natural!

Why is Sexual Health such an important cause for you?

I think that sexual health is an important cause for me because when I was growing up, sex was very tabu and even connected with shame. Nobody should ever have to be ashamed of their sexuality because of sexual norms or expectations. I believe that sex is part of being human and that sexuality is a big part of people's lives regardless of how or if we choose to express it.

What is gay life like in Sweden?

Gay life in Sweden today is quite easy thanks to protective laws and gay rights. On the other hand, the gay scene is very small, and I would say that it’s still only in the bigger cities that you feel somewhat free. But it of course depends on what you compare with and where you are from. Heteronormativity and outright homophobia can be very different.

It hasn’t always been easy though, and growing up was hard as a non-straight kid. The bullying and the shame were a fact as an “Argentinian boy” who didn’t want to play soccer but who wanted to sing and dance (I know, so gay haha). It wasn’t until my mid-twenties that allowed myself to fully explore my sexuality and gay identity. Today I couldn’t be more proud of being a gay man doing porn ;)

What inspired you to enter the world of Gay Porn? Is there much of a porn industry in Sweden?

I’ve always LOVED gay porn! I mean who doesn’t,hehe? My biggest inspiration has been my husband, Adam Tyrant, who started doing porn about a year ago. Watching him live out his exhibitionism and enjoying his sexuality on camera has been such a thrill. And since I’m an attention whore, naturally I started myself lol.

I started filming during Grabbys Europe this year, 4 months ago. Since then, I’ve had the privilege to work with some big names in the industry such as Dani Robles, Alessio Veneziano, Felipe Ferro, The Bearded Master, Alex Marte, Julian Merlo, and MachoJim. I’ve also filmed for two studios so far.

I’ve also been inspired by other great Swedish porn stars like Tomas Brand, who’s a dear friend of mine, Ruslan Angelo and Bastian Gate. I wouldn’t say there’s much of a porn industry in Sweden, but we do have some great performers and content creators.

Could you share with us your experience with porn before becoming a performer? Any favorites or inspirations? What about them? 

I pretty much started watching and enjoying porn from my first ejaculation. Before becoming a performer, the industry was always a bit of a mystery which made it part of the thrill of watching gay porn. One of my obsessions was Treasure Island Media. It was so raw and piggy and felt a bit forbidden.

What have been some of the best surprises and hardest challenges so far?

The best surprises have been the nice people in the industry and all the beautiful and lovely connections. I wasn’t really expecting to make so many friends from all over the world.

I would say that the hardest challenges so far have been to keep my inner saboteur and my insecurities in check. When you expose and show yourself on camera or on stage it’s easy to become your own biggest critic. Doing porn though has been sort of a liberation. I mean I couldn’t get more naked haha.

You were previously a very successful singer and member of a boy band. Do you think your past experience as a performer has helped you in your new porn career? 

I mean, I'm not unfamiliar with being in front of a camera or being on stage. I am also really could at taking directions.

Do you have any ambitions to do studio work?

I would definitely love to do more studio work and bigger productions!

Are there any specific acts or thing(s) you haven't yet done on film (or in life) that you still want to try? Any performers you want to work with? 

I’m still a porn newbie and there are so many things I would love to do on film and sooo many performers I would love to work with. So many men, so little time haha! Looking forward to doing my first group scene for example.

You are open about being married. How is it having a partner while also working in the porn and sex industry?

Me and my partner have always had an open relationship and we both share the same interest in sex, people, and bodies. To talk about and be open with our desires and feelings has always been a cornerstone in our relationship. The fact that he is also in the porn and sex industry makes it easier for us to understand each other.

Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Beliefs? Passions?

Outside of work, I love to travel and explore new places, and meet new people. Can never get enough of the sun and the beach. I spend quite some time at the gym and have been doing CrossFit for a couple of years. I love food and eating out, especially when traveling is something I really enjoy.

I believe in human connections, finding what we have in common and what unifies us, and standing up for equal rights.

Who is the real Daddy Lobo?

The real Daddy Lobo is simply a sober pig and an enjoyer of life.

How do you define a true "Porn Star"?

I would say that Adam Tyrant is a true porn star. He is such a sexual being, who loves fucking and showing off on camera and on stage. On top of that, he can control when to cum and cum on command. That’s not even human.

Are you going to become one? How?

I’m just going to continue enjoying myself and the performers I get the chance to work with until someone calls me a real porn star haha.

What is your favorite thing about sex?

My favorite thing about sex is getting high on horniness and exploring the desires and pleasures of one another.
