Britain's Benjamin King: Love, Life, & the Adult Industry

With his piercing blue eyes, wavey blonde hair, and beautifully buff body, British Babe Benjamin King was on a fast path towards superstardom in the porn industry. He had made multiple appearances at several major studios and had an OnlyFans page with scenes featuring several of the business' top talents. And yet, Benjamin took a step back last year to examine himself and what he wants out of his career and even his life. Fortunately, this reassessment has led Benji to a place of greater confidence and happiness and he is now ready to return to pornography and sex work better and more beautiful than ever.

In his first online interview, Benji shares about this journey and his plans moving forward.

Let's start with a few basics: Age? Hometown? Occupation? Relationship status?

I'm currently 31 years of age. I'm from a moderately sized town called Bradford, in the north of England. I've been head-first in the sex industry for the past 6 years; that entails running fan pages, and studio work, but primarily escorting which I'm very passionate about. I'm currently single.

How did you create your stage name?

It was an on-the-spot kind of decision for me. I kept my first name for simplicity's sake and because I couldn't see myself as anyone other than "Benjamin," a name gifted to me by my late mother that I'm very proud of. "King," although not my real surname, is a family name also from my mother's side. Naturally, having so many "Kings" in the industry and it being very "porn-y" sounding, it just seemed to make sense.

What brought you to the world of Gay Porn?

Towards the end of Covid is when I really started to tackle producing my own content for online fan sites. It was around that time I was recommended by a collaborator in London to do studio porn for increased exposure, and so he put me in contact with Tim Kruger, the producer of TimTales. After releasing some more content on my social media, Tim reached out to me about shooting for the studio and I was flown out to Barcelona shortly after to do so. It was a great success and seemed to put me on the map at the time, just as my scene partner in London suggested it would. It was from then on, once I had made somewhat of a name for myself in the industry, that studios would continue to contact me over the years.

What did you do before then? Why did it make you want to leave for Porn?

I only ever worked in bars before my mid-twenties - not that that was a bad thing! I was always a night owl back then and absolutely loved the atmosphere, the music, and watching people's fun times unfold. I found it very entertaining, though a major life event had me leave the bar I was currently working in at the time and so my savings were slowly slipping away. It was at that time that escorting naturally found me and I realized how much I adored fun, sex, and making great memories with people. I loved that every day could be a completely different experience and I've always enjoyed making people feel special and putting a smile on their faces. That then led on to diving deeper into the industry in my late twenties.

You were in the OnlyFans and sex industry for a while before adding studio work to your resume. How did that come about?

I'd briefly tried the OnlyFans venture around the time I started escorting. I earned a little money from my endeavors but it never progressed all that much. Soon after that, I moved to Madrid which put all the online stuff on a back burner. It was then after I'd moved back to England, shortly after a very tough Covid period, that I really started to take it seriously and set my sights on collaborating with the "top dogs" in London. That's when the online stuff really took over for me and the studio work started to slip in.

Do you have a preference? What are some of the pluses and minuses of each?

Escorting has always been my major passion. Contrary to what people may believe, I am a private person and I love intimate one-on-one time with different walks of life. It's a journey that's really helped shape me into the person I am today and the person I was always meant to be. That being said, I've always been an innate performer and used to do/study contemporary dance, therefore I'm not camera shy and love a chance to have fun, feel sexy, and get creative on camera. I love both sides of the industry for completely different reasons.

You were becoming a very big name in the industry, but have actually been laying low the last couple of years. Can you share why?

To put it simply; I fell in love. It was a very turbulent, long-distance relationship that just became extremely difficult to navigate, leading me into a heavy pit of depression. To be open and vulnerable with you, I started to feel guilt and shame around everything I once held in such high regard. It's been a process to regain my former self, but I can say with confidence that I'm back to being extremely proud of my life's trajectory, hence being more ready than ever to relaunch my online presence. As tough as it was, my relationship taught me so many valuable lessons and solidified my foundations as a person and so, looking back, I feel nothing but gratitude. I have all the love in the world for my ex-partner.

How does it feel to be coming back? How will this time be different? How is Benjamin King different?

It feels amazing! I'm at a very liberated time in my life where I'm really ready to take this seriously and give it my all. I even plan to get a very small team behind me to help with the admin side of the business and accelerate creative production. No more messing around!

Could you share with us some of your early life in Northern England?

I was always a very sensitive and creative child - the artsy one in school but also the class clown as I just loved to make people laugh. As I progressed into my teen years, I became very rebellious, daring, and loved adventure. My best friend and I at the time used to get into all sorts of trouble and would often run away from home or go drinking in the local bars. We were truly birds of a feather and I honestly loved those days. As for high school, I never enjoyed it all that much. It was very academic for a creative like myself and I was bullied heavily. It was then that I started to skip school and, truth be told, I got a little hooked on shoplifting at that time. It got me into trouble enough that I was put onto a dance course just outside of town to keep me occupied. Luckily for me, that's where I discovered and fell in love with dance and performance!

Could you share with us about your experience as a dancer?

I began by doing my Level 1 and Level 2 in contemporary dance with a group called Dance United, an organization designed to reform troubled youths through performance and creative expression. I got such great feedback and loved it so much that I applied to study at college, where I got accepted in my neighboring town of Leeds before moving to London to study further a year later. After a rough year in London, I returned to the north to complete my Diploma before applying for the London School of Contemporary Dance, where I was fortunate enough to get accepted. That being said, I declined my place after some events brought about a change of heart.

Do you think your experience as a dancer has any effect on your sex work? How so?

Absolutely! Who doesn't love a good rhythm in bed!? Saying that, I never was all that flexible but I had many other strengths as a performer. There are some things you learn as a dancer that you could honestly apply to all areas of your life i.e. confidence, presence, and the ability to connect, emote, and give your all in a moment. That very much applies to sex, too.

You have shared that you’re a very spiritual person and have even studied spiritual healing. What is this practice?

I've always been innately spiritual from the moment I was born. I always just knew certain things about life that seemed a mystery to other people and I just always felt that I was here with great purpose. I've always known that I'm living this human experience to self-cultivate and become the best version of me I can possibly be - that's just the journey of life. It's this inner yearning and my compassionate nature towards people that led me onto study spiritual healing, a practice that aims to heal inner pain, trauma, and unhealthy behavioral patterns through self-awareness, meditation, energy work, and an open mind.

How does this practice connect with your porn work and sex work?

It connects in every way possible. I've always believed that sex is a spiritual act and not just a physical one. It's an exchange on every level; mental and emotional, too, if you're willing to let it be. The best kind of sex involves giving yourself to another in the most vulnerable way. It's a soul exchange and can be a rollercoaster of emotion if practiced properly. That's the kind of energy I like to infuse into my sex work.

Are there any specific acts or things you haven't yet done on film (or in life) that you still want to try?

Certainly! I have a very lengthy bucket list that I plan to complete during my lifetime. Things like mastering other languages, and instruments, producing my own music tracks (I love to sing!), creating a short animation, being on the cover of a magazine, hosting a TED talk, and, of course, traveling the world! As for the sex stuff, I think I've done and tried most things at this point. I'm the kind of person that likes to try almost anything at least once and I can say I've been in enough interesting situations and environments to accomplish that!

Tell us a little bit about Benjamin King outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Passions?

I was always very passionate about character creation and animation as a kid and was always playing RPG games that inspired that, too. Performance and photography took over in later years, though singing has always been a major part of my life and I started lessons only last year in 2023. Not knowing if I was really any good or not, though wanting to believe so, my mentor told me I had amazing range, great tone, a strong vibrato (don't misread that), and a great voice in general! I was actually very pleased after being told to shut the hell up over the years, though understandable as I do like to let my voice run free some days which involves a good wail!

Who is the real Benjamin King?

The real Benjamin is compassionate, understanding, forgiving, loving, hopeful, creative, fun, crazy, adventurous, free-spirited, spontaneous, and unconventional. The real Benjamin is an optimist, an idealist, an equalizer, a philanthropist, and a non-conformist. The real Benjamin King is a lover, not a fighter, and he follows his heart, not his head. The real Benjamin believes in live and let live and his golden rule is to do what makes you happy as long as you're not hurting anybody else. He understands that everybody is human and that we're all just making mistakes and learning from them. The real Benjamin is here to make the most out of life and to enjoy the best that every day has to offer, even the bad ones, as he believes balance is the key to a successful life.

What do you think makes a true "Porn Star"?

Someone who is open-minded and is simply down for a good time. A true porn star should not be superficial or afraid to have a great time with whoever they may be paired with. Someone who can read body language well and who prioritizes their partner's pleasure. Finally, someone who is conscious of the camera but still able to fully let go and get wholly involved in the act. It's all about those not-so-serious fun vibes. Viewers absolutely love watching two people just lose themselves and enjoy crazy hot chemistry together.
