Welcome to another week! We made it! It’s time for a brand new episode of my podcast, Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro! This week, I am joined by the fabulous Paradisa LaHore! I’ve always loved this woman, even though I don’t even remember how we met! I’ve tried so hard to recall, but it feels like we’ve always known one another. Paradisa is an amazing drag queen here in LA, and I’ve gotten to work with her a bunch of times. I even got to perform for her birthday show last year! It was truly an honor. I’ve been wanting her on the pod for the longest time, and we finally made it happen! We sat down for an in-person chat late one night, and chaos ensued!

At the top of the episode, we discussed how DJ Khaled’s music could convert us to heterosexuality. Allegedly! I can neither confirm nor deny. Then we laughed for several minutes about Wendy Williams, as usual. Somehow that became an intense conversation about waffle stomping. I could not believe that Paradisa was not familiar with the subject! I explained it in detail, but you’ll have to listen to the episode in order to get the full tea!

We talked about the song “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman, and how it’s way too overdone! I brought up the “Drag Queen Starter Pack” meme that has that song on a burnt CD, with an ugly wig and a stretch sequin rainbow dress. This needs to stop! Paradisa mentioned queens who do numbers with outfits covered in slurs when they perform that song. Then we recalled the white queen who got canceled for doing that with the N-word written on her back. Sometimes I am amazed at how stupid people can be.

I asked Paradisa about the time she met the rapper Cupcakke! She said it was at The Observatory in Orange County a few years ago. She said Cupcakke was very nice, and that The Observatory is Paradisa’s favorite concert venue! I was shook, shaken, and stirred when I found out that Cupcakke is a virgin! Allegedly! I don’t know for sure but that’s what Paradisa says. If it is true, it’s wild how sexual her music is despite not being sexually active. We have no choice but to stan her. Both of these women!

This episode was truly wild and unhinged, just how I like them! I laughed so much recording this, and even more when I listened back! Give this episode a listen, and rate the podcast 5 stars! Then write a really nice review!! Lie if you have to! See you next time!
