He joined us for his first online interview to discuss his plans and ambitions.

Tell us, what brought you to starting an OnlyFans last year? 

I’ve always been an exhibitionist at heart and super comfortable with my body. Plus, I wanted to do porn for a long time, but studio work seemed dauntingly hard to break into. OnlyFans is a great entryway. I love the idea of creating my own content and running a business on my terms. It really flexes your creativity!

You are now expanding your platform from OnlyFans to actual studio porn. What inspired this transition? 

To me, studio porn has always been the dream. Ever since I was an early teen sneaking on the computer to watch porn, I wanted to be a part of that world. There’s just something so iconic about it! You also reach a different audience than OnlyFans, get to travel, and work with a whole team… makes you feel a bit like a movie star! haha.

How was your first studio experience?

My first scene was with NakedSword recently. To be honest, I was very nervous at the start. I’ve heard stories, both good and bad, about other creators’ experiences, but I still didn’t know what to expect. It’s also so strange to dream about something for so long and then finally getting to be there in that moment! I lucked out by having an incredibly sexy and sweet scene partner (shoutout to Luca Del Rey!). We had such a great time together on set… it didn’t even feel like we were “working” at all. Plus, the director and team were amazing to work with!

How is performing in studio films different from OnlyFans? Any preference? 

For OnlyFans, it’s all up to you… who you work with, what you create, editing, etc. which can be great, but also a lot of hands-on work. (Normally, I don’t mind an extra pair of hands to work with!) With studio films, all of the behind-the-scenes stuff is taken care of for you. You just show up and get to focus on the fun part, performing! Each has their pros and cons, which is why I love enjoying the best of both worlds!

Were you always a fan of pornography? What kind? What performers?

Absolutely! I must’ve been 12 or 13 when I first discovered porn. It not only turned me on but also showed me a whole new world that would be incredibly formative for my sexuality. I grew up in a conservative area, so I didn’t have much exposure to anything gay. That was back in the early days of Sean Cody, Randy Blue, Corbin Fisher, etc. Since I played sports at the time, I was very into the “college guy” aesthetic at first. But then I think it was Colby Keller that made me think “Wait, do I like scruffier daddy-types?” From there it was a slippery slope into exploring all different kinds of porn, from leather to kink to groups to public play – Needless to say, I’m very open to it all now!

What are some of your plans within this business?

I’m at the very start of my career and hope to transition into it full-time. (I mean, who wouldn’t want to have sex with hot guys for a living?) I’d love to work for studios like Sean Cody (which would be a nice full circle moment for 13-yo me!), CockyBoys, NextDoorStudios, and Lucas Entertainment. It would also be fun to film with some of my fantasy men like Logan Stevens, Jordan Starr, and Derek Kage that I’ve been following for a while. I absolutely love the way they fuck! Hey, maybe we could all get together for some group fun? Wow, I’m getting myself excited just thinking about that!

Tell us a bit about your life outside of performing. Who is Matty, other than a sex god? haha

Sex god, you say? I could get used to that! Originally from the West Coast, but I hate LA (sorry guys!) so I’ve been living in NYC for almost 10 years now. I’ve been an artist and entertainer my whole life, which I think made it an easy transition. I grew up as a dancer, then once I moved to the city, I went to design school, and now I’m an adult content creator – pretty interesting pipeline! I love to travel (and hope to do more of that for “work” haha), go out partying with my friends, and spend time in nature, especially camping/hiking with my (actual) dog! Also, if there’s a nude beach around, I’m there! One of my favorite things is being naked outdoors. Nothing like letting it all hang out in the sun!

What do you think makes a true "porn star"?

When I hear “porn star,” I think of someone who has something unique about them, maybe it’s that “it” factor, that makes them special. They’ve got to have the full package (not literally, because I’m definitely not a size queen!) since not everyone has the looks, talent, likability, and skillset to shine through the masses. Your sexiness only gets you so far!

How are you going to become one?

Well, if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna become a porn star… or whatever RuPaul says. haha But for real, I know I have what it takes to be very successful in this industry. Physical looks aside, I bring a unique authenticity to the table. I smile a lot when I film, because I genuinely enjoy what I’m doing, and I think that’s infectious. Sure, I’m performing as we all do, but I want whoever is watching to feel as good as I do in that moment. Someone recently called me the Julia Roberts of gay porn… and honestly, I’m so here for that!
