It's the holiday season, which means that the Ghosts of Christmas Algorithm are going to start gifting us some really wonderful holiday videos from all of our favorite drag queens. Some of them are old favorites, and some of them are sure to be new classics, but either way I can't get stuffed enough with these Queer-ass holiday videos from some of my favorite ho-ho-ho's.
The Rosé - Santa Baby
This NYC-based, Scottish-American drag queen is known for her work on Season 13 of RuPaul's Drag Race, but now hopefully she'll be getting tons of new secret santas who love her work as sultry singer in this cover of Santa Baby.
Bob the Drag Queen, feat. Shangela - Deck A Ho (DJ Mitch Ferrino Mix)
All hail, Roberta: Queen of All Drag! Bob the Drag Queen continues to be one of the funniest, smartest, and most talented performers in this business, and this hilarious rendition of "Deck the Halls" is absolutely a holiday fave for me.
Manila Luzon, Peppermint & Alaska Thunderfuck - We Three Queens
Manila Luzon, Peppermint & Alaska Thunderfuck are all in one video... like... what more could you ask for? Well, except gold of course; that beats the hell out Frankincense. This video is hilarious, the gals sound amazing, and, not for nothing, it's really wonderfully filmed!
Jackie Beat - Santa's Baby
Jackie Beat is forever one of my all-time favorites. She first got her start in 1937 at the age of 23 when she entered a "Young Adults of Vaudeville" competition, and she's still going strong today! Also, this wildly offensive reworking of Santa Baby into "Santa's Baby" is just iconic and I used to watch it on repeat. I love this bitch.
Michelle Visage - Silent Night
Showing her softer side, the RPDR staple and bestie-to-Ru sings a really wonderful and beautiful version of "Silent Night", along with footage of her and her family. We stan.
Katya - 12 Days of Christmas
Katya has solidified herself as one of the funniest queens out there, and she consistently brings her brand and her gifts into everything she does. Her ridiculous rendition of "12 Days of Christmas" is no different and can I be the first to say that "Four Pregnant Piglets" is also a great name for a production company. Let's workshop it.
Adore Delano, Bianca Del Rio, Courtney Act, and Darienne Lake at "Courtney Act Christmas Extravaganza" - Thank You For Being A Friend
This video manages to make The Golden Girls theme song into a holiday song. If that's not the gayest thing imaginable, it's surpassed only by the fact that four of my favorite drag queens ever (including my #1: BDR) are the ones who sing it while enjoying cocktails around a piano. This video is the video you never realized you needed. And may I just say, you're welcome, and happy holidays to all.
