Earlier this year, RuPaul and Netflix announced they were working on a project together - "AJ and the Queen". The ten-episode comedy series, which was co-created by the legendary drag persona and Michael Patrick King (Sex & The City), follows AJ, an 11-year old orphan, and Ruby Red (played by RuPaul), a "bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen" traveling across the U.S. in a beat-up RV. In every episode, Ruby Red will visit a drag club and perform a "killer musical number."
As we get closer to seeing the series come to life, the show has finally cast a love interest for Ruby Red - and he's a hot as we thought he'd be.
Josh Segarra, who is best known for his roles as CO Stefanovic from "Orange Is The New Black" and Adrian Chase from "Arrow" (and also Sex Machine Segarra in all of my wet dreams), will play opposite RuPaul's character. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hector, Segarra's character, is Ruby Red's boyfriend with a "dark and dangerous side."
A premiere date and other details about the show have yet to be announced, but something tells me we're gonna be seeing a lot of Segarra's sizzlin' body very soon. At least I really, really hope so.
