The Advocate: Dude Worship on YouTube

The Advocate finally gets hip to this newfangled thing called the internet and this cool site called YouTube, where apparently straight guys have been posting videos of themselves flexing and posing for female and (gasp!) male fans alike! The article attempts to discover exactly why these straight guys (including internet mini-celebrities like "Weatiez" and "Shanejj") are so interested in posting videos of themselves for a largely gay fanbase. Tommy, a 23 year old bartender and fan of the YouTube guys, probably sums it up best, "Men are dogs", he says, "Gay or straight, they all love getting their egos stroked, and it's fun to see how far you can go with them." We might just have to check that site out ourselves to see what all the hoo-ha is about. It might really take off someday!
