Paris-based artist and photographer Vincent Mallea is is a darling of the underground art scene whose muses include actor Jean-Claude Dreyfus and underground vamp Marie-France—and whose work can almost be described as a French combination of Fellini and Warhol. And like the latter, Mallea is also famous for exploring the intersection of porn, commerce, and art. His new series stars the models and films of Dark Alley Media and its auteurs Owen Hawk and Matthias von Fistenberg. If you live in or near the City of Lights, be sure to vist Mallea's gallery to appreciate his oversized works on canvas; but if you're stuck closer to home over the holidays, his online portfolio and gallery at Dark Alley is the next best thing.-RM
