"Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows" hits theaters today, and it's bringing a whole lot of sexy British actors with it. In preparation for this momentous occasion, we bring you the sexiest actors of Harry Potter, past and present!

We've seen it happen before: cute prepubescent kid lands long-term acting role and morphs into an awkward, frog-voiced teenager in the process (*cough*Malcolm In The Middle*cough*). It's just the nature/horror of puberty—it can't really be helped. How then, did the producers of the first Harry Potter film snatch up so many kids who would only get cuter and then, exactly on their 18th birthdays, sexier with each film? Add to that the dashing adult actors who've populated the last six iterations of the series and the Potter films have become a veritable smorgasbord of hotness. And who's the hottest of them all?

10. Harry Melling: Poor Harry. We don't envy the poor soul who, at the tender age of 12, gets cast to play Dudley Dursley, the fat, whiny, evil step brother of the much beloved Harry Potter. That can't have been good for the self-esteem. But in 2009 Melling announced that he had lost the weight and was ready to move on from the role. Good for him! We'd sit on it.
9. David Thewlis: We may be the only ones on team Thewlis, but that's okay. The actor was weirdly, almost inexplicably sexy as the dashing Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Remus Lupin. We guess we just liked the way his hair would flop around as he protected the students with his big, powerful wand. Or something.
8. Matthew Lewis: Neville Longbottom! We never even read the Harry Potter books but even we know that Neville's is one of the greatest ugly duckling stories of all time. Watching Lewis' transformation from awkward kid with fucked up teeth to hot adult with fucked up teeth has been fantastically satisfying. And we're okay with the teeth, he is British, after all. And don't forget the jerkoff video that he may have made.
7. Ralph Fiennes: He may play one of the most plainly terrifying movie villains of all time, but never forget that Voldemort is one sexy hunk of thespian under all that make-up.
6. Domnhall Gleeson: Yes, the elder Weasley brother may not be much of a character. Even so, we find our eyes glued to this beauty's face every time he's on screen. We knew that Ron couldn't have gotten all the looks in the family.
5. Robert Pattinson: It's been a while since we say pretty-boy wizard jock Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films. That is because he was [SPOILER ALERT] killed, turned into a vampire, and cursed to spend the rest of his days chasing after some boring chick in Forks, Washington.
4. Daniel Radcliffe: You thought he'd be #1, didn't you? Yeah, Radcliffe is incredibly hot, but he made the mistake of plastering naked pics of himself all over the Internet as soon as he got his first Serious Acting Role. Now that we've seen all the bits, it's hard to get as excited about the guy as we used to.
3. Tom Felton: Oh Draco, how you've grown! With his twinky, model good looks, Felton makes those Draco-Harry slash fiction sex stories suddenly seem like a worthwhile read.
2. Freddie Stroma: Goddamn. Stroma's character, Cormac McLaggen, has only been featured in the last two Hairy Potter films, but he's quickly become one of our biggest Potter crushes. Our only request: more shirtless photo shoots, please!
1. Rupert Grint: Grint may not have the tightest abs or the highest profile of the Harry Potter hotties, but he makes up for all of that by being cute as a fucking button. Maybe we're biased—both Ron and Rupert have been personal favorites of ours since we first started watching the series—but think we he's matured wonderfully. From cute kid to beefy ginger stud in just a decade? These kids work some awesome magic.
