It's no secret that we love to hate James Franco. It's also no secret that he isn't afraid of taking on roles and projects that make him appear sexually fluid or as an outcast. Most recently, he gave us some great fap material in the film Why Him? and proved his top-notch acting chops once again in I Am Michael (complete with a gay threesome), and now he's doing it again. Let's also not forget his work in King Cobra, which he produced as well.
Franco's newest venture is an HBO show titled The Deuce will take a look back in history into the porn scene in New York City throughout the 1970s - both gay and straight. James' character sports a nice 70s pornstache (because of course) and he is not just staring in the series, but is also executive producer and directing one episode. Maggie Gyllenhaal and a few others are also joining in on the fun.
Take a look at a trailer for The Deuce:
The LGBTQ+ community is becoming more and more mainstream in cinema these days, and god knows James Franco wants to help lead the way. Now can we just see some goddamn full-frontal scenes, please?!
