Movie News: Superman’s Outfit, More Tron and Pitch Perfect, and He-Man!

I’m your Gay News Guy – this is the news, casual, sassy, unfiltered, and a little tipsy. Ok here’s today’s MOVIE NEWS MONDAY as I see it!

Tron 3 has officially wrapped filming. Some on set images were shared on social media. Not sure what the reception for this one will be, Tron 2 was only meh, the box office for the 2010 sequel was only meh. Jared Leto stars and Jeff Bridges will make an appearance.

We finally know what the new Superman costume looks like. James Gunn shared a pic of the new Superman, David Corenswet, in character. We know how much we love a man in tight spandex. Bulges and all!

Despite all the changes with MCU films, Shang-Chi 2 is still happening as confirmed by actor Simu Liu, although there is no filming or release date, or script.

Godzilla x Kong did so well at the box office, a sequel has already been announced. Cue the CGI!

Stars Wars: the Phantom Menace 25^th Anniversary rerelease swept up at the box office. Surprising considering Star Wars fans say it’s the worst one of them all, from Jar Jar to a terrible script.

One movie that didn’t do so well at the box office despite good reviews was Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s The Fall Guy. No doubt it will be rushed to streaming. Despite lower box office receipts than expected, Gosling has already talked about a sequel.

The Maze Runner is getting a reboot. Let’s hope they bring back hottie Dylan O'Brien. We’d love to run in his maze.

Apparently, Pitch Perfect 4 is happening, as confirmed by Rebel Wilson. Bring one more Barden Bellas!

Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy will join Salma Hayek in the action-thriller Sacrifice. Anya will play the villain. We hope it has plenty of Captain America ass.

Hugh Jackman will be playing Robin Hood in a new big-screen version. This iteration is said to be very dark. We’d love to be a Merry Man in his clan.

After years of stalling in development, the live-action He-Man/Masters of the Universe finally got its release date- Summer 2026. The popularity of the recent animated reboot helped spring this along. No cast has been announced as of yet.

Kristen Stewart is going back to the vampire world for Flesh of the Gods, a vampire-based thriller co-starring Oscar Isaac.

Pamela Anderson will join Liam Neeson for The Naked Gun reboot. We love Liam, but can he be funny?

The director’s cut of Rebel Moon: Part 1 will be rated R with the title A Chalice of Blood and will have more extreme violence and sex. Maybe that will help us not fall asleep while watching it. Zzzzz
