Third Sean Cody Model Sentenced for Murder

What is going on at Sean Cody? Adult film actor Jordan Joplin - aka Zach on Sean Cody - becomes the 3rd Sean Cody model sentenced for murder. He was sentenced to 99 years in prison after being found guilty last year of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

While maintaining his innocence, evidence was found that Joplin killed Alaskan surgeon Dr. Eric Garcia with a lethal dose of morphine, methadone, diazepam, and lorazepam. A video was found on Joplin's phone that recorded Garcia's final moments and his struggle to breathe. The crime is alleged as premeditated as Joplin had a plan in place. He elaborately reported that Garcia was missing. This was after he transferred money from Garcia's bank accounts and shipped himself three crates of Garcia's belongings to his own home. The belongings ranged from electronics and jewelry to coins and expensive liquor. Smart, huh? He was also driving Garcia's truck and had his keys. He called for a wellness check on Garcia, and that's when Alaksan police discovered his body. At the sentencing, Joplin still declared his innocence.

This wasn't the first time Joplin had criminal run-ins with the law - including theft and destruction of property. Besides working with Sean Cody, he also appeared on Men.com, Next Door Studios, Bromo, and Randy Blue.

This isn't the first time a Sean Cody model has been declared a murderer. In 2015, David Enrique Meza aka "Mario Romo" stabbed his lover 24 times before gutting him and throwing him off a cliff. It was all in an attempt to inherit a multimillion-dollar estate. He was sentenced to life in prison and was caught trying to cross the border with his pregnant fiancee - she was sentenced to two years for conspiracy to obstruct justice.

In 2010, Jason Andrews - aka Addison on Sean Cody - admitted to stabbing and killing a tattoo shop owner after a sex party in Florida. He and his accomplice, fellow adult star Amanda Logue, stole $6,000 in cash, credit cards, and a video camera. They tried using a stolen credit card at Home Depot. Again, real smart. Andrews declared his guilt in order to avoid the death penalty. He is currently sentenced to life in prison with no parole.

Maybe Sean Cody needs to have its own documentary. These kinds of headlines don't bode well for fighting the stigma of porn star work.
