What makes Australian men sexier than other guys? 

Haha! I am not going to lie, I actually love a mullet and a bogan accent. I think Aussies tend to have a pretty decent sense of humour as well, which I believe always goes a long way towards making someone attractive. We are also a very multicultural society down in Australia so there are guys of all different backgrounds, all shapes, all sizes, all colours.

When did you first start to realize your ass was starting to become popular? LOL 

This would have been back when I started my Instagram in 2017 and I very quickly learned that the photos that had a side profile of my ass, or me wearing a speedo or a nice pair of underwear (or really anything showing a little bit of ass cleavage) would easily gain a ton of traction. So my page very quickly became 99% just that and it grew quickly.

How do you keep those glutes in such a round shape? What’s your routine? 

I get asked this a lot and I feel like I never have a satisfying answer to offer people as I struggle to train my glutes the way the average person people would. The background here is I have a back condition that affects my lower back joints, and it basically means I am unable to squat, deadlift, or move any real amount of weight through my lower back. This means that on leg day, I am limited to the incline leg-press, lunges, extensions/leg curls, adductors/abductors, and calves. The rest must be genetic.

What took you so long to start filming adult content? 

Yeah, I was very late to the party, hey? Which is actually okay with me because it means I am able to bring a decade of experience working in corporate/business environments with me, as well as a bit more life experience, and put it all into my work now in the adult content industry. I have found this to be invaluable to me as, at the end of the day, every content creator is essentially running their own business. My 20s were spent working in various finance roles, and it was only around the time that my Instagram page started to grow (circa 2017/2018) that I started to entertain the idea of a shift into filming adult content. There was lots of hesitation there though, especially as I had spent so long building an ‘ordinary’ career for myself and I wasn’t sure how it would go down with partners and family/friends. Fast-forward 6 years, and eventually I realised I just needed to do what felt right for me, and not really worry about what other people will think of it. And honestly, it’s been a life-changing adventure so far and I have never once looked back.

What was filming your first scene like? 

It was a pretty surreal experience because I had only started my OnlyFans page a few months before that, and at that time it was purely solo content. It got noticed on Twitter by my agent, who reached out to me to discuss the opportunity, and then, 3 months later, I was being flown to the US to shoot studio porn. I filmed my first-ever scene with Sean Cody, and my scene partner was Sumner. It was a great experience, and honestly, I thought I was going to be nervous, or it might feel a bit strange, but the second I was on the set with the Sean Cody team and Sumner, it all just felt really easy and natural. I found it really sexy and empowering too, and it turned me on to think that this movie was going to be watched by so many people. Throughout the shoot our camera crew would show us clips so we could see how it looked, and right away I knew it was going to be a popular scene, and it ended up being one of the most-viewed scenes on the Sean Cody website, and it was even nominated for ‘best gay scene’ at the XBIZ Awards, which is pretty mind-blowing for my first ever scene!

You have been traveling the world collaborating! What has been one of your favorite trips so far? 

Oh, definitely this latest one, which included 3.5 weeks in Rio! I had always wanted to visit Brazil, and couldn’t believe my ears when Rhyheim mentioned to me that he wanted me to join his VoyR team down in Rio to shoot a bunch of scenes. What was particularly great about this trip, besides being in such a beautiful part of the world, is that there was such a great group of guys that all made part of it. I think we had about 30 people come and go at various points over this past month, and it meant the opportunity to connect with, and work with, so many of the very best creators in the industry. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had this opportunity, and I am already looking forward to the next one!

You have filmed with just about all the hot names in the industry; who has been one of your favorite co-stars and why? 

I am very fortunate to be able to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the guys that I have filmed with so far. There’s not been a single instance where I have walked away and thought to myself, ‘Hmmm that was a bit sh*t’, or ‘Damn, he was a dick-head’. However, if I have to pick a ‘favourite’ I will say Rhyheim, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he is the one guy whose porn I would consistently watch before any of this started for me, so it was very much a dream-come-true getting to film with him. And secondly (and more importantly), I can’t stress how much respect I have for him and what he does for the people that work in this industry, and what he is trying to achieve for the industry itself, especially with his new venture VoyR. It’s hard to put a value on all the opportunities that he has opened for me, and for countless others. He is a very generous man — generous with his experience, generous with his time, generous with his wisdom and he makes it abundantly clear that at the end of the day, all he really wants is to see everybody win together. It’s a refreshing take on what can be a quite cut-throat and competitive industry and so for those reasons, he is probably the one guy that I am most thankful to have met on this journey.

You have filmed some hot gang bangs! What do you love most about filming those kind of scenes? 

Oh my goodness…I had not filmed any gang bangs before this most recent trip and then I filmed 3 in the last month! I am glad you find them hot, thanks for saying that. I think they’re really sexy too and had a great time filming them. What do I love the most about gang bangs? Taking all the dick…haha! As the bottom, that’s what it is all about. Just being part of a fun group of sexy guys and getting to take all their dicks in all positions and all combinations over and over — it’s a bottom’s dream! What kind of scene do you want to film, but haven’t? 

Hmmmmm, I would like to explore my kinkier side, which I haven’t had the chance to do yet. It’s not something that I am rushing to do just because I still am so new to all of this, but I would definitely like to start thinking about more ‘JFF-friendly’ content vs just ‘OF-friendly’ stuff. These are things that I enjoy in my personal sex life, and so it would be great to be able to eventually share that side of myself with the world as well.

It seems you are collaborating many times a week! How do you keep your libido up? 

So, my collaborating ‘rhythm’ is a bit peculiar because I am based in Australia but I have never actually filmed anything down there. Instead, I have been traveling to the States (and now to Brazil) and filming in short, intense blocks. So this last trip, for instance, I did 7 nights in LA, then 5 nights in Miami, during which I filmed 16 scenes. Then went to Rio for 3.5 weeks and filmed 14 more. When I return to Australia, I don’t plan on filming anything for a while, and will have a nice bank of content to release over the coming months. (That said, if the opportunity arises I will of course film, but my point is I definitely have no need to go back and stress about filming for the sake of filming). In terms of libido during filming, I think it’s easier as the bottom, especially as I don’t have to cum in my videos (I usually find it hotter to just focus on getting the top to cum in/on me) so that definitely helps with multiple scenes in a day. I have a pretty strong libido and so getting horny multiple times a day is generally no issue for me, especially when you have the opportunity to work with such beautiful, sexy guys!

You have been traveling so much, don’t you ever get tired of all the travel? 

YES! I am answering these interview questions in bed at 6 PM — LOL. I am exhausted, honestly. It’s now nearly been 6 weeks since I left Sydney and as wonderful as it’s all been, I am so ready to go home. I miss my cats. I miss regular visits to the gym. I miss my regular diet. I miss my family and my friends. So yeah, for now, I am exhausted, but I know as soon as I get home, I will miss being away — haha. In fact, I have already booked my next trip back here for the end of January, so I’ll see you all again next month!

What do you want your fans to know most about Matthew Ellis? 

That I am honestly such a regular guy. I love my cats; I love to cook; I love my family time and speaking to my parents every day; I get social anxiety; I hate crowds; I love when plans get canceled and I get to stay home. I have good days and I have bad days. And so, with that in mind, I really want them to know just how grateful I am that they have allowed this regular guy such an amazing chance, because without them none of this would have happened for me. I thought it was too late for me, but they have welcomed me like I never imagined. And it just makes me want to work even harder to make sure I am continuing to deliver for them.

What do you want the most out of your career?  

Going into this, I wanted to help build a space that is inclusive and accepting and to just focus on connecting with people and helping people to connect with their own inherent sexiness. One of the nicest surprises out of this whole adventure has been the number of guys that have reached out to me on various platforms and told me how watching my journey and seeing what I am doing and the freedom and the joy I am getting from it has inspired them to want to pursue a similar journey. Likewise, other guys reaching out telling me how I have inspired them to bottom, or to bottom more, or to bottom in a new/different way. I just think that’s so damn cool and it always puts a huge smile on my face, so I would love to keep inspiring people as well.
