Hank’s Public Privates and Mr. Man Get Piratey with “Our Flag Means Death”

The brilliant Taika Waititi's pirate comedy Our Flag Means Death has a lot of flesh. And why wouldn't it? Eighteenth-century pirates on the high seas and lush island playgrounds, there's bound to be some booty! Sorry, that was too obvious a pun, but it had to be said. Rhys Darby plays Stede Bonnet, a wealthy dandy who throws caution to the wind to become the pirate of his dreams, teaming up with Waititi's Blackbeard in a not-so-subtle "love story" based on actual events.

You can go research the validity of male sexual relationships of the time if you'd like, but I prefer to think men took off for the high seas in part to be free of strict mores of the times once they were in open waters, walking around all nekkid and drunk on manly life. Granted we get no peen here...yet...but with all the barrel0chested bluster and buttcheeks and male closeness, you can fill in for yourself what the camera isn't showing.
