Recap & Review of The New Series Jimbo Presents: It’s My Special Show!

As a result of totally foreseen circumstances that we all saw coming, Jimbo was recently crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8! She completely devoured the competition, and those poor girls didn’t stand a chance! Since her crowning, Jimbo flew to Hollywood to shoot her own talk show called Jimbo Presents: It’s My Special Show! I will be watching and recapping every single episode, starting with the premiere! Which is why I’ve brought you here today! We’re here to talk about everything that happened in episode one, titled “A New Pandemic with Nicole Byer”! How fun?!

The episode starts with Jimbo and her breasts doing a news bulletin about a new virus sweeping the nation called JIMBOVID69! I’m sure there’s an ointment for that! She makes a really great joke about how to test for the virus using an anal swab. If it comes out bloody, guess what sweetie?! You’re sick! There are also a lot of fun b-roll shots of Jimbo being slutty on Hollywood Boulevard just outside of World Of Wonder’s offices. Those giant boobies get me every time!

Before we know it, we’re live (sort of) on the set of It’s My Special Show! Jimbo is in a lovely gown, with a live studio audience and some funky chairs. Jimbo’s first guest is the stunning and hilarious Nicole Byer! She’s an actress, comedian, podcast host, and TV host! She’s also a frequent guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and a fan favorite! The gays love her! Nicole mentions noticing Jimbo on the first season of Canada’s Drag Race. Remember that premiere episode where the queens had to do the photoshoot on the mountain and Jimbo just screamed the whole time? That was a cultural reset.

I knew Jimbo wouldn’t let Nicole leave without asking her about her hit Netflix show Nailed It! It’s a hilarious baking competition where some of the worst bakers in America compete for $10,000! Jimbo brought up that Nicole is an “Emmy award-winning actress” but Nicole made the correction that she is actually an Emmy award-losing actress. Nicole is a great sport about it since she loses to RuPaul every year.

After mentioning that Nicole Byer is a talented pole dancer, Stephano from WOW Presents Plus comes out and agrees to be the pole while Nicole coaches Jimbo through pole dancing. Jimbo asked if it was appropriate to spit on the pole. In this situation, it is not. Nicole showed some of her signature moves, including some twerking and a split! This first episode was wild! I loved every minute of it. Next week is “The Love Episode with Charo”! So come back and see what happens!
