Hey Gurl! with Jordan Jayro: Dax Bloomquist Talks Chippendales, Theatre, and Twitter

Hello, my gorgeous friends! This week’s brand new episode of Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro, my special guest is none other than Dax Bloomquist! Dax and I met a while back when we did The Rocky Horror Picture Show together. I was Frank N Furter and he, of course, was Rocky. So we went from total strangers to spending ten hours in a dressing room together. Somehow we both made it out alive. It was such a fun night, and I knew I needed to get him on the pod. Dax is hilarious and beautiful, and so talented! He can sing, dance, act, he’s a model, he does it all! You can watch him on the HULU series Chippendales! It’s an incredible series, and I did let out a small scream every time I saw Dax on screen.

The episode begins with me once again complaining about the weather. I really need to find something else to talk about at the top of each episode. Once I bring Dax into the chat, he tells me that he likes the rain. I just said that anyone who likes the rain should let me hit them with my car. So we’re off to a great start. Then somehow politics came up! We discussed if we felt like Garth Brook was a Republican. I hope not, but probably.

We did eventually make our way to talking about buttholes. Dax mentioned that Botox is a thing that you can get on your hole. You’ll have to listen to get the full story, but it’s hysterical. We both stressed the importance of taking fiber every day and shared our love of Metamucil. I just finished my daily cocktail of the orange-flavored Metamucil mixed with an Emergen-C. Dax talked about getting Botox in the face, and that’s something I want to get really soon! Stay tuned for that!

I could not have Dax on the pod without talking about Chippendales! He was drinking out of a mug with his character on it, and I did ask if it was stolen from the set. Dax assured me it was not stolen, but I’m not convinced just yet. Then I fiercely segued into Dax’s time in Book of Mormon on Broadway and on tour. It’s one of my favorite musicals ever. If you like irreverent humor and musical theatre, this show is for you!

Make sure your stick around for the end of this episode! I convinced Dax to show me his feet after a conversation about him claiming to have strange feet. We touched on sex, Prep, and relationships. And eventually shrooms! Which I am still apprehensive about, but I learned a lot from Dax.
