Jordan Jayro’s Drag Race Season 15 Recap: Episode 10, 50/50’s Most Gagworthy Stars

DRAG RACE

Jordan Jayro's Reviews of RuPaul's Drag Race

Hi, sugar tits! It’s the weekend, and you know what that means! I’m back again to recap this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race! Last week was a ball! And there was also a ball challenge! Mostly everyone did a great job, but ultimately it was Sasha Colby who won the maxi challenge! Estitties and Spice were in the bottom two, and Spice was sent home. But now it’s a brand new week, with a brand new challenge, and somebody needs to go home! Let’s get right to it!

The queens have returned to the werk room after Spice’s elimination. They discuss how Sasha is now the only queen with two challenge wins, but Loosey chimes in and says she won three. Girl, WHERE?! She thinks mini challenges count the same as maxi challenges, and they absolutely do not. Somebody lied to her several times! The drag delusion continues with Marcia Marcia Marcia, who thought she was going to win last week. OKAY.

And just like that, it’s a brand new day in the werk room! Ru enters in a gorgeous houndstooth suit! She tells the girls that for this week’s maxi challenge, the queens will conduct interviews for 50/50! They will compete in teams! Uh-oh… Marcia and Sasha will interview Charo!! Anetra, Loosey, and Malaysia will be interviewing Frankie Grande! I love him! And finally, Luxx, Mistress, and Estitties will chat with Love Connie! This is going to be so good!!

The first team up is Luxx, Mistress, and Estitties! Estitties did the sit-down interview, and I felt like she did great! Love Connie did go on a tangent or seven, but Salina held her own! Next, Luxx went on a golf cart ride with Love Connie! This is wild. I can’t make this up! This segment was chaotic in the best way. Luxx kept up, and she looked great doing it! She could win this thing! After that, Mistress and Love Connie iced some cupcakes. Mistress did stumble a bit in the beginning, and that shocked me! I thought she’d be a natural. I hope her runway look is amazing this week (spoiler alert: it was great).

The next team up is Sasha and Marcia! Sasha is up first, and she got to make a salad with Charo! I love these two together! I can tell they had good chemistry. Charo is that fun aunt everyone loves! And Sasha is keeping up! I love it! Up next, Marcia had a sit-down interview with Charo! Poor Marcia could not understand a word Charo was saying! Her face was killing me. She got it together in the end though! Or at least she tried.

The final team is Malaysia, Anetra, and Loosey. They get to chat with Frankie Grande! First up, Loosey has a sit-down chat with Frankie! Loosey is killing this! She’s volleying back and forth with Frankie, and her one-liners were great! It’s a slay for me! Next, Anetra visited Frankie on set for an intimate chat! They walked and talked, and I don’t know how Anetra survived in those shoes! I have the same ones in gold and they are so painful!! She killed this segment, as I knew she would! Finally, Malaysia made a pizza with Frankie! Malaysia is not connecting with Frankie as much as her teammates, so I’m a little nervous for her! We’ll see what happens on the runway!

Speaking of which let’s talk about the runway!! Category is: Night of 1000 Beyoncé’s! I am so excited for this! My favorites were Mistress, Estitties, and Sasha Colby! My least favorites were Luxx and Loosey LaDuca. Rupauls says that Sasha Colby is the winner of this week's challenge! Rightfully so! Her interview with Charo was flawless and chaotic. We love chaotic!

The bottom two queens this week are Salina Estitties and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx. They lip sync to “Single Ladies” by Beyoncé. Estitties is the winner of the lip sync, and Malaysia is sadly sent home. Estitties slayed this lip sync and gave us choreo and camp and everything!
