READER FIND: ‘Dare’ Teens Reprise Their Gayness 13 Years Later In ‘The Dare Project’

A reader brought the cult 2005 short flick Dare to our attention recently, because in 2018 the same actors returned to play the same characters under the same creative team behind the original Dare. The new short is titled The Dare Project, and as you can imagine pulling off the continuation of a story with a cool 13-year gap is no easy feat.

Speaking of pulling things off. The original Dare finds two teenage boys -  Johnny (played by Michael Cassidy) and Ben (played by Adam Fleming) - horned up and ready to make some risky poolside decisions. Their chemistry cumulates in Ben slipping down Johnny's very 2000s plaid boxers to give him a blowjob! All of the explicit action is implied in Dare, but director Adam Salky and writer David Brind masterfully capture the heart-pounding illicit gay lust that beguiles the luckiest of high schoolers.

In The Dare Project Johnny and Ben are in their thirties and serendipitously reunited once again at a pool. The action here expands to include their other love interests. Actor Justin Cone gets MVP - Most Valuable Pooter - when he infuses the Dare movies with their only nudity by spreading cheek in a jockstrap while gnawing Adam's nob!

We won't spoil the ending of The Dare Project (will Ben and Johnny still have that blowjob spark between them?) but we will share the hottest scenes, snatchurally.
