Jeff Stryker Is Very Sophisticated

Stage productions are apparently becoming the comeback vehicle of choice for gay porn icons of the 1990s: we recently heard about Ryan Idol's upcoming Broadway gig, and now comes word (and video!) that Jeff Stryker's latest quest for pop stardom has taken his one-man "erotic comedy" from West Hollywood to Provincetown.

"With the help of Emmy Award winner Bruce Vilanch, Jeff Stryker goes from Superstar to Theatrical Superstar," promises the curiously-capitalized copy on Stryker's website, which also makes the show sound like what would happen if Paul Lynde met Chi Chi LaRue in the back room at the Gaiety: it's no less than "one hour of comedy followed by the show of all shows, the Stryker Dick Dance. .. Everyone leaves loving the show and loving Jeff Stryker. How can a man deliver for over 2 decades and still look the way Jeff Stryker does? When asked how he does it? Jeff claims to have found the fountian [sic] of youth and bathes in it regularly." And if you're not laughing already, you will once you hear the name of this tour-de-force: "A Sophisticated Evening with Jeff Stryker." We guess that's supposed to be ironic or something. Er, right?
