Super Bowl Fabulous
Of all the post Super Bowl water cooler talk going on today ("Amy Schumer sure knowns how to do a brave, feminist Bud Light commercial!" "I thought I took an Ambien but then I realized is was just Coldplay performing!") the best by far is buzz surrounding the overall gayness of the event. First off, Lady Gaga stumbled straight out of whatever role she was denied in American Horror Story: Freak Show and belted out Bob Fosse Presents: The Star Spangled Banner:
In addition to the performance we have an Axe body care commercial briefly featuring a man in high heels (20 second mark):
And even dozens of men in stretch pants doing mating dances:

Of course the Super Bowl 50 halftime show is where America started to really put the pieces of the gay puzzle together. Chris Martin gave a rainbow inspired performance, and even though the color scheme was supposedly related to his upcoming album, at one point he ran over and got cozy with a fan holding a gay flag. Gay icon Beyonce gave drag queens enough new moves to get them through the year and at the end of the show the stadium spelled out the words "Believe in Love" over a rainbow pattern. I was actually watching from a mostly abandoned gay club last night, and when Beyonce started singing I swear one of the bartenders, decked out in black boxer briefs and a tiny mesh football jersey, started crying while his lookalikes comforted him. That's when we got the checks and ran out of there obviously. CBS is snatching up these videos of the halftime show, but for now you can check it out below!
