Derren came out in 2007, and this Troll was NOT happy about being the last to know!

Derren Brown is a famed illusionist and hypnotist out of the UK. His line of work is fitting for him, as he tried to train his gay away, due to his Christian faith and upbringing. He even went to one of those camps. You know the ones.

Derren came out in 2007, and is now an atheist, but apparently Derren coming out as gay was news to Twitter user @Hossamalyyy, who follows Brown.

This user sent a slew of hateful tweets that he’s deleted since, but were caught on screengrab:

After seeing infamous u really shocked me with your gayness shit. Just a thing for your both ears ..1.. shove it up your ass

With all your intelligent performances how come you are a freaking sick human being in real life.

But Derren Brown, not to be upstaged by “The Gays In Apt 611,” had the perfect response to Hossam:

But JUST like The Gays in Apt 611, Derren retains his sense of humor throughout the ordeal like a champ. And doesn’t Hossam realize that, the more gay men there are, the more women there are for him? He should be thankful Derren is making his life easier. And next time, Hossam should get all of his news via Twitter, the network he chose to blast Derren on. News always breaks there first!

If this shows us anything, it’s that gays are resilient and have good senses of humor. There’s a reason they call us sassy.
