Jason Segel’s Mom Cried Over His “Nudity Scene”

First of all, US Magazine (link below) should never talk about things they have no clue about. Calling a nude scene a "nudity scene" is the height of stupidity. Having said that, it was awfully nice of them to break this scoop as it gave us a chance to talk about Jason Segel's cock again. 

Segel is the lovable actor who just wrapped a nine year run on How I Met Your Mother, and most famously did a full-frontal scene in his 2008 film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, making him one of the only actors in his current generation to show true fearlessness on camera. 

While there were a lot of fans of the scene, apparently Segel's mother was not among them. 

"She cried," Segel, 34, recalled of when his mom saw the graphic scene in the 2008 comedy flick. After the initial shock had subsided, his mom went on to send a mass email to family members, giving them fair warning about the scene. "I would like to inform you all that Jason has chosen to do full-frontal nudity," she wrote. "However, it is not gratuitous and is essential to the plot."

As far as the scene being essential to the plot, Segel explained it thusly...

"One of the pitfalls of a romantic comedy is that you know how it’s going to end," he said. "The guy and the girl on the poster are going to end up together. I felt like if the main guy showed his [penis], you’re forced to sit back and say, 'I have no idea what’s going to happen in this movie.'"

Segel's next film is the R-rated comedy Sex Tape, due out next month. No word yet on whether he does another nudity scene.
