A Hunk Washes His Bare Ass On Public TV

Well, maybe only on TV in Sweden. An Oslo ad agency created this charming TV spot for Asan Shower Gel for Men, wherein we see a man strut into a public shower and scrub clean his every orifice. You gotta love the tagline: "HAIR. BODY. BALLS."

The ad—titled "Shower Like a Man"—won a Bronze at the Cannes Lions awards this past week, which sounds fawncy, fawncy to us. Shots of a man as his cleans out his belly button, blows snot out of his nose, pees in the shower, and washes out his ass crack become amusing when set against the dulcet tones of a woman describing the scene as if in a luxury spa. The whole spot follows the growing media trend of replacing last decade's meterosexuality for burly men swaggering their mega-macho selves about.

While this commercial is fine to run in Sweden, it'd never fly in America. Naturally, the lame, sexually repressed Puritans of YouTube will yank it any moment, if they haven't already.
