Everything We Know About History We Learned From Fashion Editorials

We weren't even a twinkle in mom's foxy eye in the 1970s, but we're practically 70s experts. For example, according to this retro-inspired editorial from MOXOW mag, in the 70s, everyone was a hot Latino athlete hanging out in short-shorts.

Make that short-short-short shorts. This editorial by Photographer Carlos Burboa and Kevin Kobek has us yearning less for times long past and more for the hunky models sitting in front of the camera. Honestly, aside from the athletic socks hiked up to mid-calf and the crotch-grazing hem on those shorts, we don't really see much about this shoot, entiled "Chicos of Seventies," that's supposed to evoke the 1970s. One of the models has a mustache…which is something. Oh well, we imagine that it must be pretty hard to hearken back to a bygone era's fashion and culture using photographs that mostly feature half-naked dudes.
