As anyone with a peach-colored hanky dangling from the right rear pocket of his well-worn Levis can tell you, there is nothing quite like the embrace of a big, strapping bear. And although a cold, papery periodical could never replace the warm, fuzzy contours of, say, Steve Kelso, Bear Magazine is going to do its best to get you hot. Again. Out of print since 2002 (the IRS was involved, let's leave it at that), the mag's new owners have cranked out 40,000 copies of the revival issue featuring coverdaddy Jack Radcliffe and plan to distribute them free of charge at ursine events and like-minded bookstores, with quarterly issues starting next February. Let's hope it meets a better fate than some other print publications we can think of ... (AVN.com)
