Unlike many of our fellow homosexualists, we're not always fans of Tom Ford: maybe it's because his sunglasses are just too expensive, or maybe we're just tired of seeing him everywhere. But we have to admit that his knack for self promotion is nothing short of brilliant. Case in point: The cover editorial in OUT magazine's November issue, where Ford bares his soul to editor-in-chief Aaron Hicklin and his bare bottom to celebrity photographer Terry Richardson. And besides all that towel-snapping with a pair of hunky models, there's also the new "secret ad" for Ford's signature cologne that spoofs his now-infamous crotch-focused campaign which was rejected by several magazines ...
"[T]here's a double standard with featuring female nudity and featuring male nudity," Ford explains. "When people say to me, 'Well, you objectify women,' [I say] I'm an equal opportunity objectifier. We had a lot of magazines reject the female version [of the campaign], so the male version is going to get rejected even more." (And here we were thinking he was trying to convey the fact that his cologne smells like ass!)
