JC Etheredge: Anti-Heroes

Brooklyn-based artist JC Etheredge creates the kind of comics we wish we had stashed under our bed when we were growing up: "hot, hung, horny (and) hard-bodied" super studs with names like Safari Caleb and Sly Zeke and Super-Semen Tai, all of whom are depicted in adventures involving sinister kidnappings, evil cults, the mysterious "Dragon Nuts", and come-drenched tropical adventures. (All of which sounds like our last vacation, actually, but we're assured it's a work of fiction.) While you're visiting his plentifully stocked online portfolio, don't miss JC's x-rated Extended Gallery, the first of his Flash dress-up dolls, and your chance to order the first two volumes of his Anti-Heroes comic book (printed "on paper so glossy you'll blind yourself", in case you were wondering.) Definitely one of our favorite art discoveries we've come across lately; would an eventual live action version be too much to hope for someday?
