Lonely Webcam Guys

Says our friend Bill at A Bear in the City about this Flickr collection featuring over a hundred face shots of webcam guys in various states of arousal and/or (un)enthusiasm: "Many of the men are straight, and none of them are conventionally beautiful. Instead, the dominant look is loneliness ... All of the pictures are tagged with 'beauty' and 'sex', but also with 'depression', 'loneliness' and 'unemployment'. I'm not sure I could come up with a better thumbnail description of the online chat scene." And we couldn't come up with a better set of reasons why we're so strangely intrigued by cyberstars' photo assortment as well. After all, whoever said cruising for sex via the webcam scene always had to be, well, fun?
