The Way Pervy Exec Talks About Casting Riverdale Is AMAZING

You know how people say that the SNL skits about Donald Trump's presidency write themselves due to the already exaggerated, unbelievable circumstance the show is satirizing? WELL, the executive producer of Riverdale, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, just gave an entire Interview in the voice of Herbert from Family Guy and I am LYVING FOR IT. I can't tell if he's being legit or trolling us, but this boy is thirsty and doesn't have any intent on hiding it. Really, there aren't any jokes to be told because he covers them from tip to taint!

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa had a hand in casting the Archie-inspired CW series, and someoneeeee has a thing for the 19-year-old, half-Samoan Archie portrayer, K.J. Apa. Crush alert!: Via Vulture

I think we literally saw every redheaded young guy in L.A. It certainly felt that way. Every time that a redheaded guy came in, my heart swelled a little thinking, Let this be the redheaded boy who is the answer to all our prayers.

K.J. read for us and he was immediately Archie Andrews. It was the right combination of earnestness and edge. And he played the guitar like a dream.

Of course, they are all beautiful to look at, but for me, what I wanted more was a sense that the characters had a ripe sexuality.

Like they were all kind of on the cusp of transitioning from teenagers to young adults. It’s almost like the 1950s pinup girls, or the guys that were, like, a little bit like Physique Pictorial. There was a sexual energy to them that I look for, more than, like, Oh my God, is this kid TV pretty.

I mean, I guess we always knew that the CW execs cast shows based on the amount of droplets that collect on their hard dicks during auditions, but now we really have a sense of their enthusiasm. Relive the epic shirtless pics of K.J. Apa taken at Neverland Ranch, I mean, the set of Riverdale, in the gallery!
