Sunny Leone’s Bullettes

Sunny Leone is the beautiful Vivid Entertainment contract performer that until very recently, only performed with women on camera. One look at the lovely lady and it is easy to see why fans of both genders were piled high to see her during the yearly convention in Las Vegas, her warm smile, great looks, and winning personality combining to make her a true darling compared to many of her peers. Doc Johnson has long sought to capitalize on such popularity with their lines of sex "novelties" that plaster the picture of a beloved performer on a box cover of their latest toys in hopes of name association alone moving more units. I can't blame them in this sense since so many of their toys are used in productions that they frequently get credited at the end of a movie so with that in mind, I took a look at a really neat little vibrator called the Sunny Leone Bullettes.

For those of you familiar with vibrators, you often have to choose between strength of vibration and size, the larger toys accommodating more batteries to power the stronger devices. The number of generic "pocket rockets" that are under powered but popular abound in the market place these days and based on size alone, I really did not expect a lot of power coming from the toy. Mine was the blue version, wide around as my pinky finger (granted, I have big hands), and 3.5 inches in length. The box advertised that it was made of phthalate free ABS plastic, a hard plastic that is allegedly less prone to be toxic for those of you into environmentally safe products, as well as the vibrator being water proof. My own dealings with claims something is waterproof have varied considerably over the years so I put it to the ultimate test of dropping it in a bowl of water for a few minutes. The seal kept tight and the o-ring held, no moisture seeming to get into the motor or battery casing. So far, so good as the saying goes.

Unlike a recent toy I reviewed, there was no foul odor emanating from the device, a good sign when it came to pleasing my bed buddy testing assistant Nadine; her heightened awareness of this aspect of modern toys sure to impact the results of future toys. The Bullette came with a generic AAA battery, only one needed to power up the cute little toy. That alone should have told me the toy would be underpowered but I pressed on all the same. At the base of the device was a black cord that was designed to wrap around your wrist, ostensibly so you won't get too out of control and let it slip up inside you (making for a difficult, if amusing time fishing it out; pun intended). There was also a dial that allowed the user to control the speed from a very light buzz to a surprisingly frisky level of vibration rarely seen on such small devices. The rippled shape of the toy allows for easy penetration of either pussy or ass as well, giving it an added thrill for those into backdoor fun.

The toy worked like a charm from beginning to end, the only weakness it really had was the duration of a battery being kind of short. I tested it with a Duracell Coppertop and it lasted marginally over an hour at it's highest setting but as the other saying goes; "A candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long" (I know that quoting Blade Runner in a sex toy review seems odd but consider whose work you're reading here, okay?). Nadine made it clear that this was the strongest vibrator in its size class that she had come across, a lower setting just right to get off with in clitoral stimulation and the higher settings best suited for rubbing on the nipples, ass, or penetration. We did joke about the wrist band attached to it a bit as well but it was a solidly built toy for a very reasonable price that gave a lot of pleasure with a single battery so I rated it as Highly Recommended.
