Right out of the shipping box, I was impressed. The metal tin with viewing window it comes makes this an excellent gift choice. I opened the tin and removed my new Hope. It measures 3 1/2" in total length with about 2 3/4" being insertable. Between the body and the twist dial is a double row of "diamonds" these are a classy touch. The control is a simple smooth twist dial. This becomes a little tricky when the toy is covered with lubricant. The toy itself is a hard plastic with a satin finish. Both silicone and water based lubricants are safe for use. This toy takes 2 Sum5 batteries, which is a little frustrating as I have never even used theses batteries in my home, let alone a sex toy. Luckily, the first two are included with the vibrator.

Onto the Bed Test! I was quite doubtful of the Hope's pleasure powers. It's a short toy, so penetration isn't really optimal.While the vibrator is positioned in the tip, the tip isn't angled in any way to provide optimal clitoral stimulation. It does produce a decently strong vibe, with minimal noise, but the shape of this toy just really didn't do it for me.

The O-ring that is designed to keep water out of the battery compartment worried me a bit, so I only took this toy in the shower. I was both pleased and surprised to find that no water did leak into the Hope.

The Hope is a satin finished toy that provides a decently strong vibration that's surprisingly quiet. While the overall presentation is highly appealing, this toy's shape just doesn't lend itself to either penetration or clitoral stimulation. I'm saying Skip it, Evolved has much better choices in their line.
