The videography by John Newby provides the basic function of a porn movie but completely misses the mark on the ass eating with no close-ups (except for a quick one in the bonus scene). There is also a cum shot that is missed due to the camera focusing elsewhere instead of where it needs to be.

Sound:

The stereo sound is okay but the voice-over narration is irritating in that at times I could not understand what the dude was saying. This has nothing to do with his British accent as I love ‘em and have never had trouble understanding those sexy lads from the UK. The music overpowers the voiceover at times.

Extras:

Final Thoughts:

“Cityboyz” is a real mixed bag and ultimately a disappointment. The raw material is there (good-looking dudes, sharp picture quality, descent production values) but the movie never quite satisfies. The problem lies in the direction and editing by Rex King. Scene one is pretty much a waste with the dudes mostly kissing and grinding with just a little cock sucking and no climax. Scene two features the exact same dudes with the addition of the very cute Kristian Collins and the action picks up but still contains no descent close-ups of the ass eating. Scene three features the very hot Fred Oliver (cover dude) and has some fun sex but is somewhat ruined by the editing: scenes two and three are edited together making for a disjointed viewing experience. Scene four is group sex action and comes very close to missing the mark. First off, there is a mystery dude who disappears completely by the end of the scene. He’s cute and I would have liked to have seen more of him and at least one descent shot of his cock. The dudes give descent performances but none are all-out no-holds barred. Some seem a bit awkward and stiff. While the movie is in no way bad enough for a Skip It, it’s really not good enough for a Rent It. I’m stuck in the middle of the two ratings on this one. I’ll go with a Rent It with caution
