The Movie:

"A Raisin in the Buns" consists of one orgy scene. The seven models are all African American with the exception of one Latino dude. I found all the guys to be attractive except one. There is a mix of full, trimmed, and shaved pubes, hairy and shaved holes, cut and uncut cocks.

This is basic orgy film featuring making out, mutual jack off, sucking, a bit of finger-fucking, rimming, and fucking(with condoms) all on a cheap set.

The DVD

Video:

"A Raisin in the Buns" is shot directly on video and presented in full screen. The picture quality is okay but not great. The camera work is terribly basic and static consisting of repetitious long shots, medium shots, and hardly any close-ups. The lighting is harsh and washes out the models. The camera shots go on forever making the film as dull as waiting in line at the grocery store.

Sound:

The natural sound is mostly downed out by a cheesy tune with the following lyrics repeated over and over and over: "Happiness is just a state of mind/As sure as the sun rises in the East, it also sets in the West". A monotonous mantra.

Extras:

This disc contains no extras.

Final Thoughts:

This is the first film I've reviewed where I'm handing out the dreaded "Skip It" rating. Although "A Raisin in the Buns" features some attractive men, the horrible camera work, lighting, editing, and music turn the film into endurance exercise that I would not wish on any viewer.
