Porn star Mia Malkova and webcam model Mighty Emelia will be hosting this year’s AVN Awards.

Mia Malkova has really grown from a porn star to a full-blown social media sensation over the past few years. She boasts 9.9 million followers on Instagram, 2.2 million followers on Twitter, and 623k followers on Twitch, the popular gaming platform.

“I’ve always wanted to host. Every year that I’ve gone I thought, wow I’d love to host the show someday but I’ve always had a little bit of stage fright and I decided it wasn’t going to be for me. But this year with it being in a studio instead of in front of thousands of people was perfect for me. It always just looked like they were having a lot of fun up there.”

Tony Rios, CEO of AVN, said the 2022 hosts are among the most talented women in the adult industry today.

“I’ve presented awards before—like the next year’s Best New Starlet—and I’ve been a Trophy Girl at one point, but even accepting awards I shake like a little leaf when I get up on stage. It’s also been a few years since I’ve been on stage and I’ve done a lot of things like feature dancing and I did a Bollywood film—a lot of things that have gotten me out of my comfort zone—so I think I’m going to be perfectly fine and have a great time.”

The 39th annual AVN Awards will be all digital this year and will be streamed live on January 22nd on AVNawards.com.
