Lana Rhoades Responds to NFT Fiasco

NEWS & PRESS

Lana Rhoades made a long post on Instagram to address the issue regarding the failed NFT project. So I have shared her long and detailed message with you here as it’s likely to be deleted from social media when the lawyers get involved.

However before I post her story, I want to show you something. The amount of hate she gets online is unreal. I completely get what she means by closing things down for her own mental health. Just look at this and keep in mind there are thousands of comments just like this across all of her platforms.

Lana Rhoades Hate

It’s disgusting. But that isn’t what this post is about. What I wanted to do was share with you her message about the closing down of the Crypto Sis project.

Yes I realize there are some typos in the message below, but I wanted to leave it as she wrote it – as this is her story to tell.

When you have honest intentions there will always be receipts showing so. Over the past week creators and media have been once again using me for views & engagement spreading lies and completely taking things out of context to benefit themselves. In October I was approached to make my own NFT project, I was told I would only have to design the art and promote it and for that I would receive 50% of sales as payment for being the face of this project.

Although I have no control over any aspect of the back end for the project including the discord, community wallet, website ect I believe everyone involved had amazing intentions and tried their best to make this project a success. You can clearly see this in the personal messages I’m sharing.

I am sorry that the project did not turn out how everyone would have liked it to, but it was at no fault of my own or anyone involved, some times things just don’t go as planned even when you try your hardest.

Finally in the last slide you can see my last message before taking a break from the discord, I let everyone know I would be working on things and that it could take weeks, I did not leave anyone in the dark despite leaving the discord due to a very hateful and negative environment when things did not go as holders wanted.

I know people love to troll me but stop spreading misinformation. I will leave this post up for 24hrs and then I am taking a break from social media this whole fiasco has been draining and undeserved, I am an honest person who has only ever gone into things with genuine intentions and Mybe a hint of ignorance.

I encourage other creators to wave caution with taking on new project especially in the crypto & NFT space. It’s an uncharted territory and as seen here a lot can go wrong, even when you do everything right.

Is Lana to blame? Is it buyer beware? Or is the development team behind the project at fault? Or is it a combination of all three? That my friends, I’ll leave it to you to decide.

Because the thing I can say for sure is that I know people who have worked with that Carter that Lana referenced in the above screenshots and not a single one of them have had a good experience.
