Listen... social media can be a real time and energy suck. Sure, you start out with a cute lil video about some derpy dog, but then the scroll gives you some amazing soldiers-returning-home videos... and then next thing you know you're in a deep rabbit hole of ASMR videos involving mayonnaise and a nail file. In other words... it's a crapchute and a mindfuck. But sometimes you stumble on some real beauty. Every now and then you see an IG page and think, "Oh fuck, I love social media and am so thankful for how much art can be spread across the globe!" This was my experience when I stumbled upon artist Draw Me Denis (@drawmedenis on IG). He does beautiful and very Miami-vibe artworks of gorgeous men who are scantily clad. He somehow manages to capture the sexiness, the horniness, the beauty, and even the seriousness of being Queer, while at times subtly commenting on religion, race, and politics. Here are 10 of my favorites.
