Go-Go Boy Spotlight: Greggo from Los Angeles

Greggo got his start go-go dancing last summer at Box Stars, a competition at Precinct in Los Angeles where he won "Bartender’s Favorite". His adorable, boyish face and manly, fur-covered body has been making the rounds in Southern California, recently at Cybersocket's Cocksock last month at The Bullet Bar in Los Angeles! Hometown: I grew up in a super small town in West Virginia then moved to New York City for 10 years and now in Los Angeles.

Birthday: December 23 - Christmas Eve Eve - and yes I got half the presents when I was a kid!

How did you get your nickname? Honestly, I was just trying to make an Instagram and it was a placeholder until I thought of something, but then it just kind of stuck. You can call me Greg or Greggo—I’ll answer to a lot of names.

Venues you dance at: Recently it has been The Bullet Bar like for Cybersocket's Cocksock and at Precinct in L.A. and Chill Bar in Palm Springs. I have danced in Long Beach at Hamburger Marys, Akbar in L.A. and most recently at Micky’s in West Hollywood. Looking to expand my venues— I'll gladly dance anywhere!

Favorite thing to wear while dancing: I love showing off this peach of mine, so I feel super confident in a jock strap! CellBlock13 fits me super well, but there are so many other brands. I generally also like to wear some kind of harness. I have several and I just love the way a harness makes me feel!

Have you ever hooked up with a club patron? Not on the clock, but after I’m off or when I’m at a club on my own time. My boyfriend and I have definitely taken some boys home!

Favorite thing about being a go-go boy: There are a lot of things! I love being in the nightlife scene and getting to know the bar staff, other entertainers (drag queens/performers) and bar patrons. I love to see people let loose, forget about how terrible things are right now and just enjoy the moment!

I have to say that my favorite thing is getting to see a shy person come in with their friends—perhaps it’s their first time in a club like this—and watching it set in that they are in a safe space to finally able to be their true, authentic self.

What do you think the best part of your body is? I think my butt is a pretty great part. I have always been a little self conscious about my body, but I have always thought my butt and thick thighs are pretty sexy. I also really love all my fur!

Biggest pet peeve when people are tipping you? I’m pretty relaxed when it comes to a little groping, but you don’t get to do whatever you want for a single dollar.

Biggest pet peeve about working with other go-go boys? I generally dance with really great people! We are all professionals, but lateness is my biggest pet peeve. Dancing for a while gets tiring and when it is my turn for a break, I would love to get my full break.

What advice would you give to a new go-go dancer? Don’t be afraid to reach out to people about being hired. They may not be the right person, but could possibly point you in the right direction. And just be yourself when you’re dancing! Each dancer has a different vibe and energy; you don’t need to dance or act like someone else. Bring your energy and keep the party going all night!

What is the last TV show you binge watched? I just watched the last two episodes of Stranger Things that were released. I also just finished The Bear on Hulu—I highly recommend it.

Top 3 favorite movies: That is a tough question, but Hocus Pocus (I named my dogs after characters or actors from that movie), Party Monster and Waiting for Guffman. I also love post-apocalyptic and horror movies!

What hobbies do you have? I’m a big beach bum and would happily be there all the time! I go a lot when I have time. I also enjoy training and taking care of mine and other pups. I have been told I am a dog whisperer. If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to help!

Do you have a hidden talent? I found out recently I’m actually really good at axe throwing! I am ready for the zombie apocalypse!

Single or taken: I am happily taken! We have been together about two and a half years now. I moved from NYC during the pandemic and we moved in together in L.A. It has been so great, and he has supported me so much in my journey becoming a go-go!

Perfect romantic date: I would love some kind of activity, maybe a cooking class! I would also love roller skating, axe throwing or break rooms then food and drinks; ending the night with a little romp in the bedroom!

Favorite sex position: If I’m bottoming, missionary is great so I can watch the top; but also laying on my stomach. If I’m topping (in my relationship we are both true verses—it’s the absolute best), I love putting him against the wall or missionary. Let’s be honest, I’m happy to be in whatever position the day calls for!

Celebrity crush: There are several, but I think Cheyenne Jackson has been my longest celebrity crush.
