This Week In Thesaurus Mishaps: ChaosMen’s “Shear Chaos”

Oh, ChaosMen, we know how you love a neologism--we don't have to go any further than the name of your site to figure that out. And we know how the kids these days love a crazy spelling--you know, like Gorillaz, Ghostface Killah, or Condoleeza. But really, are you sure you wanted to call your new bareback "condom-free" DVD "Shear Chaos"? None of the guys look especially shorn to us, or even cut on the bias. Sure, some of the hairdos look questionable, but they probably aren't the result of wind shear. And speaking of hairdos: although we have no idea what your models do when they're not having condom-free sex in front of a camera, we doubt they all could be potential contestants on a certain hairdressing-themed reality show, in case the title was an homage to that or something.

Now, obviously your curious word choice didn't hurt sales, since your DVD is sold out already--but maybe you might want to pay someone to consult a dictionary next time? Or even better: join Corbin Fisher on the tuition-reimbursement bandwagon so everyone on your staff will understand the difference between homos and homonyms.
