“Surf Camp” Is Over, And Not A Moment Too Soon

We've been hanging ten with the online gay surfer series "Surf Camp" all winter (which is summer Down Under, lucky bastards) and we must admit that we're glad the season has finally ended.

Our relationship with the YouTube sensation is much like our relationships with most boys: it started out really great, but it sort of devolved into a crazy mess. In the first episodes there were lots of hot guys with their shirts off and cute Australian accents, and we love that. This final episode—where the winner is chosen between quirky Jesse and pretty boy Ben—features a scant amount of the scantily clad and all sorts of chatter. They even say that the winner was chosen cause he can actually surf. What?! We've barely seen any surfing the whole time, and no one voted on how well the boys did on the board. That along with the crazy "commercial" in the middle of the episode just made us want to die. Oh "Surf Camp," it's not you, it's us.
