More like "Can you queer me now!" RITE? Paul Marcarelli is the former Verizon spokesperson whose line "can you hear me now" rivaled other memorable catchphrases from a decade and a half ago such as "Yo quiero taco bell," "Wazzup," and anything said on any Geico commercial. Marcarelli recently switched teams, and now touts Sprint's lesser quality but cheaper rates in ad spots that have blanketed television networks over the past months. Well, guess the fuck what? Paul Marcarelli introduces his husband, Ryan, in the latest commercial from the cell phone provider, and it's so sweet you're going to get the diabetes.
The 46-year-old Paul Marcarelli is instantly recognizable for his thick horn-rimmed glasses and sassy ass smirk. In 2011 he came out of the closet and produced a gay movie called The Green featuring none other than Cheyenne Jackson. Thankfully, Sprint threw enough money in his face to get him back in the ad game, because their newest holiday commercial introduces us to Paul's PIECE of a husband. In the spot, which was released on November 27th, Paul saunters - yes saunters - around a Christmas tree farm before joining up with a bearded daddy. Anyone with over five brain cells will know that the commercial implies that the two men are in a relationship. But, something tells me Republicans will assume they're roommates.
Check out the full Sprint commercial featuring Paul Marcarelli and his husband below, and tell me what you think! If Ryan is anything like so many other boyfriends / husbands of celebs, he definitely has leaked dick pics. That would be a true Christmas miracle.
